Skylight

Final two idea's that were considered for the final project.

1. Skylight: A day + night skylight that used a solar panel to power leds and provide light at night.

2. Gas valve: A timer controlled valve that was intended to shut off the flow of gas to an oven. 

• Analysis was conducted on both the skylight and gas valve.

• "Sketch Models" were created using low cost and simple methods.  

• In-class presentation given on both to convey ideas and recieve feedback.  

Results

• Ultimately it was decided that the skylight would be the superior choice.

• The gas valve project would not last the entirety of the semester.

• Lessons were learned from both projects; especially about thescale of the skylight.
