Chariot built to compete in a dodgeball tournament.

• Constructed entirely of paper and foam products.

• Able to withstand weight of over 250 pounds.

• Total weight of 8 pounds. 

• Designed to be either pushed or pulled.

 

Results

• The sketch model challenge did not go as the team intended it to. The chariot did not last through the dodge ball game. 

• The requirements of supporting a

  265lb person and being ready for all various Chicago weather

  were not met. 

• Although the sketch model challenge did not go as planned,

  The most important lesson learned was that analysis is key when working with lightweight structural materials.
